As a parent, I often can’t go running as much as I’d like due to my schedule. When I can’t head outdoors for a long run, I still make sure to maintain fitness through stretching and strength training exercises that don’t require much time or equipment. Push-ups, sit-ups, and planks are favorites of mine. To optimize my training, I’ll analyze data from previous runs and look for ways to improve habits. Additionally, I enjoy discovering new routes and exploring areas I’ve never been to before. Following ultra races around the world allows me to virtually visit these locations by obtaining GPX files and viewing them on Google Earth.
