Finding balance between life and running

This is the longest break from running I can remember. It’s Thursday and I have not been out for a run since a short jog on Sunday. I am either feeling tired in the evenings, oversleeping in the mornings or do not want to go outside. I am not feeling good about this. I maintain some of my strength training routine but nowhere near the volumes I used to do. I also start eating quite a lot of snacks. I feel like I am gaining extra weight. Ugh. Time to pull myself together and go out for a run. Lesson: You want to get something done, do it. This might be the only time you have. So much to learn about running and being a parent!
