Again and again I am leaning the value of keeping my mind open. It is true for running just as anything else. I would not have started exploring new places to run have I not made an intentional effort to find them. And to find a good spot you do not necessarily have to look far. For example, in Hanoi lakes are the places where people go running. This is what made me notice two smaller lakes closer to home. I did not expect it to be very exciting but I wanted to see more of the life in Vietnam and could not miss the opportunity of exploring. It turned out to be different from what I have imagined and that was interesting in itself.
