Doing Things Differently

Start making small changes and see the difference

I learn a lot better when I make changes to my routine. I often listen to podcasts when I am washing dishes and cleaning up the house in the evening. Then one day I do not listen to anything and clean up in silence. I feel great and good ideas come to my mind as I am more present in the moment. I usually run late in the evenings because I cannot wake up early enough before my son’s school. Today I managed to wake up before 5am and go out for a run. As a result, my whole day is on a different trajectory. I feel more energy. I want to tackle bigger problems. I heard a lot of good things about meditation, but I rarely practice it. In the last few days, I started spending 10 minutes in the morning to focus on my breathing and I think something is starting to change inside myself, but I am probably the only one to see those changes. Give it a try – do something differently and see what happens.
