Few days ago, I saw a beautiful sight that made me stop: a late afternoon blue sky without any clouds. It is such a rare sight in Hanoi where low grey clouds cover the sky for most of the year. Then I thought to myself: the grey clouds are like the things that I see in front of me as I do the work and go about my day, while the blue sky is the future. I do not see the future; it is hidden from me by these low clouds. Yet, the future is always there, waiting to be discovered and the place where I want to go. I told to myself that the next time I see the grey clouds and feel them pressing on me, I will think of the wide sky beyond them. The sky that is always there. This felt very important at that moment.
