As I was running today on one of the roads I rarely venture to run, I was pleasantly surprised to find a wide road with little traffic and almost no people. It was not the best road for running but it was much easier to navigate than I thought previously. This made me think about all the assumptions I make about how difficult something is which may turn out to be not true. This happens so often: instead of making progress on solving problems, I would be stopped by how hard I think the problem is. It is worth testing your assumptions whatever they may be by doing the opposite.
